Guided Cotton Farm Tour
Tour around one of our many cotton farms where the cotton is picked and packed into modules/bales ready for transportation to the Cotton Gin. The Cotton Gin is where the tour will proceed to so you can see the raw cotton being cleaned and the seed removed and packaged for export.
Rocket Park
The original rocket was built in Kirkby Park in 1972 to commemorate the Centenary of Education. Today, the giant colourful model has been rebuilt and in 2009 it was voted in the top ten parks to visit!
Waa Gorge
Waa Gorge walking track in Mount Kaputar National Park is a challenging walk through Grattai Wilderness Area and Waa Gorge, offering birdwatching opportunities and a great place to picnic.
Gwydir Wetlands
Located 60 km northwest of the NSW of Moree these magnificent wetlands are one of the most significant inland wetlands systems in NSW. Since records began in the 1920s, at least 75 water bird species (50 breeding) have been recorded in the Gwydir Wetlands.
Yana-y Warruwi Walking Track
Beginning at Terry Hie Hie picnic area, Yana-y Warruwi walking track offers a scenic stroll through the beautiful vegetation surrounding the township. The traditional Kamilaroi Aboriginal People once used this area for important ceremonial gatherings, and evidence of this usage still remains in the form of axe-grinding grooves on rocks.
