Visitors to the Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre will notice construction works in some parts of the Centre.
Patrons have access to the Passive Pool 38 - 40 degrees and the Program Pool 27 - 30 degrees
Our waterslide hours is operational for the summer hours 12pm to 4pm
Patrons can enjoy using the gym facilities and cafe.
We appreciate your patience during this time while we are undergoing revelopment to this iconic asset.

Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre is an Artesian water oasis

The Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre is nature's magic at work! The complex has recently undergone a AUD7 million redevelopment and is the region's premier health and wellness centre. Home to Artesian water, it attracts both domestic and international travellers that come for the healing properties of the water. Open all year round as a family friendly facility that welcomes all.

The benefits of natural artesian mineral waters were discovered thousands of years ago and have been used for their curative powers since ancient times. Many European cities are steeped in spa culture and their residents use thermal spas for their therapeutic value.

Today, you don't have to go to Europe to enjoy these health benefits, for this can be experienced in the beautiful township of Moree.

Artesian Wellness Bathing

The famous Moree Hot Mineral Baths originated in 1895, when the baths mercurial waters were accidentally discovered. While searching for a reliable source of irrigation water, a bore was sunk into the Great Artesian Basin. Amazingly, this bore derived hot mineral waters, heated naturally at 41 degrees Celsius.

The baths are visited by 300,000 people annually, who travel to experience the therapeutic benefits.
